Our Associate, Brooke Glasgow, recently stepped into an additional role as Regional Representative for South Auckland for the New Zealand Law Society’s Family Law Section (FLS), Ngā Rōia Ture Whānau.
Brooke works closely with the other two South Auckland regional representatives, Charles Boon, and Lena Wong, and with FLS Executive, Paul Muller to bring a local voice to The Family Law Section.
Its 33 regional representatives are dedicated to supporting family lawyers throughout New Zealand, promoting excellence in family law practice, and access to justice.
Brooke is ideally placed to champion this role with her strong ties to South Auckland. She explained,
“I became a lawyer so I could make a positive impact on the local community through my work and this role is presenting some excellent opportunities to help me work towards that goal.”
The management team at Denham Bramwell fully supports its senior staff taking on advocacy roles to benefit the community. Devika Kumar, General Manager. explained,
“The firm has a deep respect and genuine care for its clients and the communities in which they work and live, so we need to support them in every way available to us.”
