Celebrating excellence in family law
Denham Bramwell has been selected as a finalist in the Family Law Firm of the Year category at the inaugural NZ Legal Excellence Awards 2026. The recognition places the firm among four finalists in the family law firm category of this new awards programme celebrating excellence across New Zealand’s legal profession.
Recognition for family law expertise
Family law matters often involve significant personal, financial and family considerations. They require careful legal advice, sound judgement and an understanding of the circumstances and priorities of the people involved.
The Family Law Firm of the Year category recognises firms and teams demonstrating sustained excellence in family and relationship property law, with an emphasis on the quality of their approach, effective outcomes and the contribution of their people.
For Denham Bramwell, the finalist selection recognises the work of its Family Law team in supporting clients through these often challenging and complex matters.
A people-focused approach
Denham Bramwell takes a people-first approach to legal services, recognising that every client’s circumstances are different. The firm’s Family Law team advises on a range of matters, including relationship property, separation and other family-related legal issues.
Clear advice, careful consideration of each client’s situation and a practical approach to resolving legal issues are important parts of helping clients understand their options and make informed decisions.
Looking ahead to the awards
The NZ Legal Excellence Awards Gala will take place on Thursday 26 November 2026 at the Auckland Viaduct Events Centre, where the winners will be announced.
Denham Bramwell is pleased to be recognised as a finalist in this inaugural programme and congratulates the other firms and individuals shortlisted across the award categories.
