Originally working for Peter and Fiona as a family law barrister, Damandeep initially practised in civil law but soon fell in love with family law and became a specialist family law barrister. She enjoys assisting clients who have come out of distressing separations in reaching resolution. She particularly enjoys working in South Auckland due to the diversity of culture amongst her clients and assisting them in various familial circumstances.

Emma has been practicing family law since 2014 following previous vocations in teaching and 17 years in the New Zealand police working predominantly in Youth Aid and the Police Prosecutions Service.

Gael studied law and politics at the University of Otago and quickly developed an interest in family law specifically. She began her legal practice at the Mangere Community Law Centre where she developed a broad skill set through teaching law in schools and providing legal advice on everything from neighbourhood disputes to employment issues.

Kristy has recently joined Denham Bramwell after working for the conveyancing team in a law firm in South Auckland. She completed her Honours Degree in Law from the University of Auckland in 2014 and was admitted to the Bar in July 2015.

Peter has joined the Family Law team at Denham Bramwell after working directly in the Family Court for the Ministry of Justice. He brings with him a sound knowledge of how the Family Court works which is of real benefit when it comes to progressing matters through the system.

Rachel graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Law and Arts (majoring in Psychology). She knew early on that she wanted to practice in family law and gained first in class in the subject. Rachel’s passion to problem solve drives her to work diligently and creatively to achieve the best possible results for her clients.

Reuben might be one of the newer member’s on the team at Denham Bramwell, but he certainly brings extensive experience with him. A conjoint degree in Law and Commerce at Auckland University kick-started his career, which included working for over a decade in the ‘big four’ accounting firms in Auckland, Singapore, Melbourne and London advising multi-national companies in the areas of international tax and transfer pricing.
